management en organisatie veiligheid *nieuw dit seizoen online leren

tuesday 23 june 2020, 15h-16h30

In this webinar you will get a general explanation of the sector guide, the mandatory framework which all workers and employers in the professional arts must apply from 1 July.

The conditions to organize public activities are clarified! The professional arts protocol, an initiative of oKo together with prevention advisers and partners from the sector, was officially approved on Friday 12 June by the Minister of Culture Jan Jambon. This protocol provides a framework for anyone wishing to create and show professional arts from 1 July. All workers and employers have to apply it.

From now on the protocol can be consulted in a clearly readable way via (in Dutch). The protocol has meanwhile been approved by the joint committee of the professional performing arts and music sector (pc 304) and from now on counts as a sector guide.

We are very pleased that performances are again permitted, but we call on everyone to remain cautious and caring. The virus isn't gone yet. Safety for artists, employees and the public will remain central in the coming months.

In order to inform everyone about what is allowed from 1 July and in what way, we organize a series of webinars during which Johan Penson and Pieter D'Hooghe, the penholders of the sector guide, will give information and answer questions on this topic.

This webinar explains the general framework. This webinar is also given in Dutch (see below).
Members of oKo can also opt for a similar session on June 25th (in Dutch).

In the general sessions we will discuss the broad context. In a number of Q&A sessions that follow (see below), we address specific questions from different angles: artists, audience and communication staff and technicians. For these Q&A sessions we ask you to follow one of the general webinars or go through the website in advance if possible.

The sector guide is a supported instrument, an initiative of oKo, in cooperation with the Social Fund for the Performing Arts, the Belgische Schouwspelvereniging, ACOD Cultuur, ACV Puls and ACLVB. The content was co-created with support from CJM, the cabinet of Minister of Culture Jan Jambon and input from a task force.

This is a free. You do have to register, before Monday, June 22 at 12h.

This webinar will be organised via Zoom. You will receive a link in advance.

You can e-mail your questions about the general framework in advance to opleiding(a) More specific questions will be discussed during the Q&A sessions.
