Binnenkort is het zover: STUK, Huis voor Dans, Beeld en Geluid in Leuven, maakt zich klaar voor Artefact. In de tentoonstelling en het festival, lopend van 8 t.e.m. 25 juni, staan hedendaagse kunst, actualiteit en maatschappelijke uitdagingen centraal. Onder de titel The Ecstatic Being focust Artefact in 2023 op het idee van extase en de impact daarvan op hoe we naar onszelf en de wereld rondom ons kijken.
It’s almost time: STUK, House for Dance, Image and Sound in Leuven is preparing for Artefact. The exhibition and festival, which takes place from June 8th to June 25th, revolves around contemporary art, news and social challenges. Under the title The Ecstatic Being, in 2023 Artefact focuses on the concept of ecstasy and the impact on how we perceive ourselves and the world around us.

Artefact bestaat uit een fantastische tentoonstelling, concertavonden, clubnights, lezingen, films en workshops. Het festival is ook het hoogtepunt voor de STUK-vrijwilligers die als onthaalmedewerker, suppoost, concertmedewerker, promotiemedewerker of hulp op recepties of in de keuken van dit broeiende festival-gebeuren een waar succes maken.
Artefact consists of a fantastic exhibition, concert and club nights, artist talks, films and workshops. The festival is therefore the main event for STUK volunteers who lend a hand at the reception, as an exhibition guard, during concerts or promo tours, or help out during parties and in the kitchen. That way, they make the festival a great success every year!

Zin om bij ons vrijwilliger te zijn tijdens het festival? We hebben verschillende soorten vrijwilligers nodig: wil je de expo bewaken, of eerder het publiek ontvangen? Heb je interesse in hedendaagse kunst, of wil je helpen bij concerten en feestjes? Het kan allemaal!
Want to become a volunteer during the festival? We need different kinds of volunteers: do you want to guard the artworks, or would you rather welcome the public? Are you interested in contemporary art, or would you like to help out during concerts and parties? Everything is possible!

In ruil voor je inzet biedt STUK je een leerrijke ervaring achter de schermen, lekkere maaltijden, vrijkaarten, drankbonnen en een kleine vrijwilligersvergoeding.
