Film Fest Gent is the largest international film festival in Belgium. The festival propagates film and visual culture to a broad audience and supports film and film music talent. Each year, more than 100,000 people visit the city of Ghent for a challenging programme of films, talks, concerts and much more. Film Fest Gent highlights filmmakers and the collective experience of cinema. NL: Om het team te versterken van september tot en met oktober 2026 voor de 53ste editie van Film Fest Gent (7 > 18 oktober) en de 26ste editie van de WSA Film Music Days (8 > 10 oktober) zijn we op zoek naar een
STAGAIR/VRIJWILLIGER PRODUCTUE MUZIEKPROJECTEN (V/M/X)
Onder begeleiding van de medewerker productie en de verantwoordelijke van de muziekdienst ondersteun je het in goede banen leiden van allerhande events tijdens de WSA Film Music Days, het muzikale hoogtepunt van Film Fest Gent.
De focus ligt op de productionele voorbereidingen van de WSA Ceremony & Concert, maar je ondersteunt ook de voorbereidingen van talks, workshops en andere events gericht op filmmuziekfans, componisten en professionals. Je zal kennis maken met verschillende aspecten van de muzikale werking van het festival, zoals artistieke en logistieke productie, online communicatie, relatiebeheer en administratie. Je mag je verwachten aan een divers takenpakket.
Wat ga je doen?
Als stagiair/vrijwilliger binnen het muziekteam help je onder meer bij…
- Het opstellen van draaiboeken, call sheets en detailplanningen voor de WSA Ceremony, op basis van afspraken met verschillende partners (bijvoorbeeld radiozender Klara) en medewerkers (bijvoorbeeld de presentator)
- Het opstellen van briefings voor presentatoren, freelancers, monteurs en grafische ontwerpers, hun output nakijken en evalueren
- Het verzamelen van informatie en materiaal voor het programmaboekje en andere communicatie over de muziekprojecten
- Het opvolgen van het ledenbestand van de World Soundtrack Academy (inschrijvingen verwerken en databestand beheren)
- Diverse productionele taken, zoals broodjes bestellen, vrijwilligers aansturen, parkeerkaarten maken, cateringlijsten opstellen, logeplanningen maken etc.

Colleague (F/M/X) “Production Music Projects (intern/volunteer)”
Under the guidance of the concert producer and the music coordinator, you will help ensure the smooth running of all kinds of events during the WSA Film Music Days, the musical highlight of Film Fest Gent.
The focus is on the production preparations for the WSA Ceremony & Concert, but you will also assist with the preparations for talks, workshops, and other events aimed at film music fans, composers, and professionals. You will gain insight into various aspects of the festival’s musical operations, such as artistic and logistical production, online communication, relationship management, and administration. You can expect a diverse range of responsibilities.
What are your tasks?
- As an intern or volunteer on the music team, your responsibilities will include…
- Preparing rundowns, call sheets, and detailed schedules for the WSA Ceremony, and incorporating arrangements with various partners (such as radio station Klara) and staff members (such as the presenter) into the schedule
- Preparing briefings for presenters, freelancers, technicians, and graphic designers, and reviewing and evaluating their work
- Gathering information and materials for the program booklet and other communications about the music projects
- Managing membership registrations for the World Soundtrack Academy (processing sign-ups and keeping track the database)
- Various production tasks, such as ordering catering, managing volunteers, preparing parking passes and dressing room schedules, etc.

- Het is een pluspunt als je kennis hebt van muziek (solfège)
- Je spreekt Nederlands of Engels (min. één van niveau B1/B2)
