Staging the intimate, an introduction to consent-informed practices

In deze workshop verkennen we essentiële benaderingen voor het ontwikkelen van duurzame, 'consent-informed' praktijken in de podiumkunsten, de beeldende kunsten en andere verwante disciplines, zowel in het professionele als het amateurcircuit. Doelgroep zijn zowel spelers als makers; ook medewerkers in technisch-artistieke beroepen zijn welkom.

We richten ons op praktische benaderingen om intieme inhoud te navigeren, tools die persoonlijke autonomie respecteren en de fysieke en emotionele integriteit van iedere artiest centraal stellen.

Nu onze sectoren blijven evolueren, is het belang van zorgvuldige en respectvolle omgang met gevoelige, gewelddadige of kwetsbare inhoud duidelijker dan ooit. 

Tijdens deze actieve en interactieve dag bieden we een startpunt voor kritische reflectie, met oog voor de unieke aanpak en expertise die elke discipline, elk project en elke situatie vereist. Breng je eigen ervaringen, inzichten en nieuwsgierigheid mee naar onze uitwisselingsmomenten.

Voor wie?

Kunstenaars / spelers / makers / choreografen / regisseurs in de brede cultuursector. Ook technici, make-up en kostuumontwerpers zijn welkom.

Join us for a workshop where we dive into essential strategies for developing sustainable and consent-informed practices in the performing and visual arts, as well as related disciplines across both professional and amateur circuits.

Both performers and creators are welcome, as well as employees from a technical-artistic background.

Our focus is on practical approaches to navigating intimate content—empowering you with tools that respect personal autonomy while addressing physical and emotional integrity of every artist. As our industries continue to evolve, the importance of handling sensitive, violent, or hyper-exposed material with care and respect has never been clearer.

This workshop centers on frameworks that honor individual boundaries, power dynamics, diverse creative processes, and the rich variety of experiences within our communities. 

This activity-filled day will provide a starting point for critical engagement, recognizing that each discipline, project, and situation calls for unique approaches and expertise. We invite you to bring your experiences, insights, and curiosity to this collective learning experience.

For who?
